Yes, we can have up to 3 cars in our driveway.  There is no street parking for additional cars. 

Damage deposit are refunded approximately a week after check out according to terms and conditions on the contract.<br />


A personalized security code will be provided.  
Check in during daylight hours, generally between 3 pm and 8 pm to ensure smooth check in.  
If the house is ready prior, I will communicate with the guest and provide access a few hours earlier.  

Please text me (302)229-6723 or my husband at (301)639-5670 if you have any issues.  We do have a few local folks that can come out if needed.

We have made the kitchen a homely environment.  There are cast iron skillets, coffee makers (one regular coffee maker, Keurig).  We generally stock the kitchen with flour, sugar, spices, etc.. so it is easy to make a nice meal.

The outdoor spaces make the place very special.  There is a beautiful firepit to make smores, the deck area to look at all the stars in the sky, a bench to enjoy the outdoors, a hammock to lay in and outdoor table to have a nice meal.  

We have smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector.  In addition, we have fire extinguishers near the woodstoves and in the kitchen.  

We have a playground in the backyard with a climbing wall, swing, and a playhouse.  
 
We have a high chair, children's books, kids games (6-12 yrs old) and kids DVDs.  Please bring a pack and play if desired.

No major parties.  We allow small get togethers up to 8 people.  Maximum 6 adults.  

Outside smoking only.  If smoking, please ensure all butts are out and safely put in the trash.  

No.  There are about 15 stairs to get to the main level of the house.  As this location is in a mountains, the grounds around the cabin are hilly and rocky.

We have a desk with a monitor that a laptop can be plugged in.  We have a nintendo NES Classic to play some favorite Nintendo games.  We have two televisions which you can log into your streaming service and stream your favorite shows or watch some of the many dvds available at the cabin. 

I live in Northern Virginia with my husband and two kids. I love exploring new places, restaurants and and traveling all over.  We decided to buy a cabin to get away from the city life and enjoy the outdoors with the family.  We fell in love with this place for its beautiful outdoor spaces and cabin feel and we know you will as well..  <br />
